Cooking and baking classes give students of all skill levels new confidence with food preparation, whether they’re learning to help in the kitchen or cooking up a meal on their own. Students enjoy preparing, presenting and sharing food with others in a safe and elegant setting.
Cooking and baking classes teach skills such as selecting, handling and preparing ingredients; following recipes; using kitchen tools; and applying techniques for cooking from scratch. Students can learn about making anything from everyday meals and snacks, to foods for parties and holidays, to delicious desserts. Classes are tailored to the interests and talents of each student.
Students also learn how to present and serve the foods they prepare, before sitting down to enjoy them with their instructors and taking an appetizing package of their work home to share with family. All tools and ingredients are provided.
