At Apex Opportunities, we’re committed to a special purpose. Through an impressive array of creative and educational courses, we gently prod individuals to reach their greatest potential yet.

Over two decades, we have refined a unique approach that structures each of our classes around education, creativity and inspiration. Community Classes

Apex offers a broad array of courses for students from age two through adult. Our classes are available in both one-on-one and group formats, with highly trained and experienced instructors.

We welcome parents to visit our center, ask questions and learn more about our classes.

Each family that registers for a program of classes receives an in-depth parent package. Our classes are open for new registrations year round.

Music Classes

Music classes give our students a new appreciation for the music they already love, as well as teaching them how to make music themselves. Students can develop both manual skills and cognitive abilities by learning to play instruments and compose music.

Writing Classes

Writing classes help develop students’ language skills and dexterity while they’re having fun. Students enjoy the satisfaction of expressing themselves in writing, gain practical skills and even author a professionally bound hardcover book.

Art Classes

Art classes bring a new enjoyment of color and form to our students, as well as helping develop their dexterity and language skills. Students gain the satisfaction of expressing themselves and creating works of art that they can keep.

Gift Wrapping Classes

Gift wrapping classes teach students a practical skill that engages their artistic talents, develops dexterity, and brings them the satisfaction of creating their own unique gift package to take home and show off.

Cooking Classes

Cooking and baking classes give students of all skill levels new confidence with food preparation, whether they’re learning to help in the kitchen or cooking up a meal on their own. Students enjoy preparing, presenting and sharing food with others in a safe and elegant setting.

Kriah Classes

Apex offers private kriah classes to students who are inspired to read from the Torah. Each class is customized for the specific student, introducing him to the secrets of kriah and how to become a bal korah.

Create-a-Pal Class

Create-a-Pal class combines creative fun with social connection to give students a joyful interactive experience and a cuddly new friend to take home. Making their own bear, playing and listening to stories helps develop students’ social, relationship and attention skills.

Party Prep Classes

Party prep and table setting classes teach students how to set the table and set the tone for any kind of get-together, whether it’s a holiday party or a family breakfast. They learn organizational, practical and social skills, while enjoying the creativity of selecting decorations and arranging settings.

Gardening Classes

Gardening classes give students an inspiring way to welcome spring—or let them develop their artistic talents at any time of the year by creating a miniature garden. Spring gardening teaches students about the natural world and gives them practical gardening skills, while making a miniature garden enhances dexterity, organizational skills and imagination.

Sand Classes

Sand classes bring two great expressive tools together for maximum fun: sand and music. Students enjoy an immersion into sensory and imaginative play, while developing their social, manual and listening skills.

Sewing Classes

Apex offers private sewing classes to students of all skill levels. Each course is designed according to the specific interest of the student, whether it’s to do a little mending or to make clothing, dolls or household textiles. In addition to the practical skills imparted, sewing classes help improve dexterity, focus and planning abilities.

Education Classes

Apex offers a broad range of educational specialty classes that can be customized to each student’s needs and abilities. For children, courses are designed to complement school, while adults can collaborate to design their own course of continuing education. Popular courses of study range from academic subjects like math and reading to practical skills like telling time and counting money.

Halcyon Harmony

Experience a life-transforming musical program for women and girls. Presented on an MP3 player, the program includes guided imagery, breathing techniques, guided muscle relaxation, inspiring music, journaling guidance, brain repatterning segments, the bird song healing method and other techniques for bringing peace, serenity and vitality to listeners.

My son has never grasped colors. Speech therapists have worked on him a long time and nothing made a difference. When he began art classes at Apex he started to pick up on colors—I'm amazed! He has also become more grounded and relaxed from it and when he does art at home, he gets tremendous satisfaction and instantly relaxes! He has always loved art, but since Apex, his passion has only grown! It helps him in so many ways!

It's hard to explain the impact that Apex had on me! The classes are my highlight and I enjoy all of them. Whether it's art, music, gift wrapping or table setting. It's always something that makes me feel calm and successful!

We have tried many methods and modalities to help our daughter with her sensory and speech issues, to no avail. Yet the brain gym and sound sessions have transformed her life! She's a lot more functional, her speech is clearer and she's behaving more appropriately.

My son has learned to shmooze. He was never able to carry a conversation, yet he's now able to share his day and be more aware of his feelings. Though finding the right words remains a struggle, he's improving and is at a stage where he isn't afraid to try and is succeeding thanks to hashem. The amount of detail he suddenly notices and expresses is unusual to us. It seems that Apex unravels his mind more and more with each session.

The classes and brain repatterning have helped my daughter gain physical energy and flexibility, bringing her up to par socially, in the playground and beyond! She's now playing with other kids her age and strives to fit in and be the best she can be. Her confidence has improved and her status in school has changed for the better.
